Intention Behind Every Selection
Alex and Sabrina began their partnership in 2021 when Sabrina joined the Dwell team. After jumping in and learning Alex’s design process, the duo could adapt as needed until they sorted out what worked best for their team’s dynamics.
As Alex and Sabrina spent more time working together, they noticed how many similarities they had with their own style preferences. The teammates have likings for clean lines, earthiness, and a nice balance of comfort and aesthetics. While they have varying style preferences in other areas, their work results in a perfect blend that is configured to their clients’ styles.
The partners enjoy meeting with clients in the showroom as it marks the beginning of the design project. During this initial meeting, Alex and Sabrina have conversations with the clients to learn more about the project, goals, and style preferences. Following the client’s visit to the showroom, the team schedules a date to do a home visit to measure their space.
Alex begins setting the foundation for the client’s design board in specifying the furnishings. While Sabrina’s focus is on the technical side, resulting in her role involving the design of AutoCAD floorplans and 3D renderings. The team then works together to figure out every detail to complete the project.
“I admire Sabrina’s dedication! Her willingness to jump into a project wherever she’s at and complete any task to get what we need done for a client,” Alex said. “I love that she and I have a process down to a routine of us each knowing our part, working simultaneously while collaborating to get the project perfect in all aspects.”
Traditional Home Renovation
This mid-2000s ranch home had the perfect layout and location when our clients acquired it. Once the team was assembled a game plan was put into action for updating the whole main floor. Alex and Sabrina partnered with the other subcontractors with selections to make sure everyone’s details achieved the best finished product.
As partners, the two can split up work and collaborate on the same project simultaneously. The team can curate the space while communicating with contractors and vendors to get the perfect execution.

Over the last few years, the two have learned that communication is key. The partners discuss anything that arises and navigate what the best solution is.
