As a secondary residence, designer Abby Craighton wanted to create an inviting space suitable for both hosting and living. With concrete floors, walls of windows, and a very modern shell, this type of space could lend itself to feeling cold and not welcoming. By paying attention to the warm colors and cozy textures, Craighton gave the spaces the warmth needed without sacrificing the modern style. Blending in some dashes of industrial and masculine flair created the exact outcome the client desired and an outstanding final space!

From early planning and selections to construction support and the final furnishings layer, great design is a process that unfolds in phases (not all at once). Our latest blog walks through what each stage really feels like, why timing matters, and how thoughtful planning creates a smoother, more cohesive home from start to finish.
Because a well-designed home doesn’t happen by accident — it happens with intention from day one.
