After getting to update most areas of the house, it was finally time to create the retreat for themselves that this couple was missing with their current design. Building off the perfect bed, designer Abby Craighton designed the room with earth-inspired colors and calm. Paying attention to not only the layout but the functionality of the storage spaces, and extra seating in the nice-sized primary bedroom. Art and bedding finished off the space to become the relaxing getaway they longed for!

We just brought a brand-new Rowe sofa to the floor, dressed in one of the most unique fabrics we’ve seen in a while. And spoiler alert = shiny velvet is officially making a comeback. (And you have to feel it!)
This texture-rich finish is one of the trends we’re already calling for 2026, and it adds just the right amount of depth, warmth, and edge to a space.
